Makenna likes to help bake the cookies!!!! She loves the sugar cookies, thank goodness, because these are not my favorite to make. We do love to decorate them though!

Choir Performance

After the performance, the kids went caroling in the neighborhood..this is with their principal, Mr. Lorimer. (By the way, Vance is not in the choir, but likes to walk around the neighborhood when they carol...basically, he likes ringing the doorbell and running!)

Vance participated in the Temecula Parade with his hockey league. They all lit up their helmets and sticks and skating down the parade!! So fun to watch!

Vance Wins The Championship Game!

Vance is officially named "The Wall" by his opponents and his teammates. It turns out he is a very talented goalie, which turns out to be very stressful to watch in the stands! The final score tonight 11-5. He is very proud, as are we! Go Rangers! He will do some hockey clinics Jan-Mar until the spring season starts up. Then, he is looking forward to a summer ice hockey camp!

We had fun decorating this year. We made hot chocolate, had some good ole' fashion Christmas music playing and went to town! It is fun as the kids get older..they kind of just take over (Makenna mostly).

Classroom Thanksgiving Feast!!!

These are pictures from Vance & Makenna's Thanksgiving Feast in their classroom. It really was a feast with all the trimmings! They had fun! This is Vance with his good friend, Brady and Makenna with her friends Becca and Lexi. It was also PJ day, but the boys (for some reason) did not want to participate!

Our Event Planner!

So Makenna loves to plan fun events and activities. Last night she organized a rotation of 3 centers, 1st was a game center, 2nd was a drawing pictures center and 3rd was a snow time shop where we got to make our own snowflakes. She then had prizes for the winners! Vance especially loves it when she organizes a raffle! Today, she put together a Zoo. Each corner of her room had a different group of 'animals'. There was the Wild Animal section (please do not feed) and as you walked in, she had cups of water and food to feed the animals!!! How creative! There was a Dog exhibit and a Lil Animals exhibit!
