Blueberry Picking

We found out that a Blueberry Farm just opened up here in Temecula so we spent the afternoon blueberry picking! It was super fun! Afterwards we headed to Thrify for some ice cream! What a great way to spend a spring day!

For Memerial Weekend we had family over for a BBQ and swim day! It was loads of fun and we especially enjoyed the ice cream sundae bar! Uncle Seth's potato salad was soooooo great too!

Hockey Game

Vance is seriously thinking hard about his game plan! He is goalie for his team and they were playing the undefeated team! We gave them a VERY good game, we lost, but each time we play them the point span decreases! It was such a GREAT and FUN game to watch! We are so proud of Vance!

Poolside Fun!

We finally got the pool 'summerized' and this is our first poolside fun day! Bella had fun too!

Makenna and Vance are in their school's Drama Club performance of Peter Pan! Makenna has a ballet solo in the play! Vance is VERY irresistable as everyone won't stop hugging and hanging on him! He told me he had a team of 5th graders guarding him! Their performance is this Saturday! Can't wait and so gratefule their school offers such great programs!

So I took a trip to Aspen with some girlfriends from college and had a wonderful time! My most favorite was the snowmobiling!

Snow Day

First of all...way too long to neglect the Blot!!! We went sledding a bit ago and here are some pictures from the day! The kids LOVED it! We are hoping to plan a big snow vacation next winter!

B-Day Adventures at Disneyland

Peyton, Makenna, Cathy, Vance, Wade, Nikki, Molly, Brian & Breck...the story here is that we were on Toy Story Mania (a new and very popular ride) and while we were on it, it broke down. We then got the official 'backstage tour' as we like to call it! Here is a picture of all of us!

Makenna got her first Libby Lu Doo for her birthday! We sprayed, starched and primped to keep the doo all weekend long!!!!!

We had a great weekend at Disneyland for Makenna and Vance's bday!!! We went to California Adventure on Sat. and Disneyland on Sunday. It was a very great time! Brian, Nikki, Breck (Nikki's brother) and the girls joined us on Saturday. Vance loved going on California Screamin 7 times!!! He is a roller coaster finactic!

Birthday Fun!

So now that the Christmas decorations are put away, it is time for Birthday! Since we are headed to Disneyland this weekend to celebrate Makenna & Vance's birthday, we decided to celebrate last night at their favorite restaurant to go to for their birthday, Roadhouse Grille. They love this place for the coffee filter hat and toilet seat cover necklace they get with their birthday song! I also baked cakes for them, a Bakugan cake for Vance and a Barbie cake for Makenna. They came out great and we not very hard to make! Makenna and I had fun with her cake and Vance liked how his cake came out too!

Sacramento Fun

A birthday celebration with Grandma and Grandpa on New Years Eve

A visit to the Railroad Museum in dowtown Sacramento. This was so much fun and we enjoyed touring a few of the cars, our favorite was the one that simulated the train traveling at 55mph at night with the beds turned down! Then, my personal favorite, the Diner car where they displayed the different sets of china for each railroad company (had no idea each company had their own china design!).

The kids and Murphy...this was a treat because Murphy is normally not a fan of kids and they always have to keep a safe distance, but now that they are older, he doesn't think of them as 'puppies' he has to dominate and the kids really enjoyed being able to love on him!

On our way to Sacramento I usually stop in Fresno to visit with my college friend, Brandy, and her kids. This picture is with her twin girls, Hunter (in the back) and Spencer (in the front). It is always fun to see them and we are always amazed at the fact that we both had twins!
